Runosong-Academy

Runosong-Academy is an independent research institute focusing on the research, pedagogy and development of runosong and other related (especially eastern Baltic-Finnish) forms of music. Runosong-Academy works in co-operation with local and foreign universities and research institutes. Runosong-Academy publishes research, organizes seminars and works on promoting subjects related to it’s research. Runosong-Academy’s objective is to become a top of it’s field research institute networked with every domestic and several foreign universities and institutes related to the research, development and pedagogy of folk music.
